They lied to me and charged me $1,000 for a $400 mattress from Value City Furnature.

Last November, I was forced to unexpectedly run out and buy a new mattress. I wasn't able to set aside money, so I knew it would be hard to pay for it.

At Value City, they suggested I apply for credit. I did and was shocked to find out I was approved. My credit line was around $3,000, but I wasn't going to be reckless and spend it all. I purchased the cheapest queen size mattress they had for $400.

I sat down with the representative from the credit company and she walked me through everything. $90 a month would come out of my checking account beginning in December 2023. If I paid in full within 120 days, it would be the same as cash. 120 days rolled around and I decided to just let the final few dollars get taken out of my account.

After all, 120 days is four months. Four times $90 equals $360. There should only be one more payment, right? Today, I found out they are still taking out $90 per month!

When I called they said I didn't purchase a mattress for $400, I leased one for $90 a month! They intentionally lied to me.

Of course, they refused a refund. The issue is now pending with the Ohio Attorney General's office.

The Acceptance Now Loan company at this location is not a good option I had an emergency surgery in April 2024 and have been dealing with this company since May 2024 and the manager Ameria has the worst customer service and told me she basically does not care at all and will not honor the 100-day loan and even though I contacted in the same month ( May 2024) trying to make final payment they told me to put in a claim I did on 05/13/2024. The claim was finally paid out on 06/27/2024 i have been calling and talking to them numbers of times and Ameria never told me they paid out to make the final payment I had to call and let her know I know

AS OF NOW...

So my items cost $3,330 at the every beginning i paid $1300.00 before the 100 days.

After the 100 days they added interest which made it $2,880 to pay out.

After the claim of Benefits Plus was paid out which was $915.00. Why it saying that I own on today $2,800.00 which is the same amount as before the payment and was applied then they pushed back the date for payment on Aug 31, 2024 which I NEVERD AGREED TOO

They are stealing money in sooo many ways and this does not make any since I have tried asking to get to CORPORATE and asking for their number but everyone especially Ameria is not willing to give it to me and keeps telling and showing that she does not care I NEVER HAD THIS TYPE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY LIFE

Need to speak with an agent

The reason I needed to speak to an agent is because the acceptance now people at the rooms to go here in Tampa Florida refuse to refund my $500 deposit. When I came in to buy furniture they kept saying how they could help me build credit and that I should finance with them from my own good because it would improve my credit rating when I paid it off.

I had the cash to buy the furniture but decided to give them a chance. That night I found out how fraudulent the company is and they have been into problems before for stealing people's money so the next day I went back to rooms to Go canceled the loan and voided the contract. They refused to give me back my $500 deposit because they said they weren't allowed to give cash. They told me I would receive a check from corporate I did not believe them and did not trust them so I told them to have the check sent to the rooms to go store and I would pick it up from there.

They said it would take 1 to 3 weeks. The check never came and now they are lying to me saying oh we keep trying to call you to give you the cash. They already said they weren't allowed to give cash. I have been consistently lied to and now the woman is even yelling at me when I called to inquire about my money telling me she shouldn't have to deal with my harassment and she's getting tired of this and they don't have the money to give me.

They are full of lies and contradictions and are flat out stealing my money. Even though I was referred to them by rooms to Go and it's under the roof of rooms to Go rooms to Go refuses to help. Acceptance now is the biggest fraud I have ever encountered.

They are aggressive, rude, rotten, and dishonest. Please help!!!

I purchased a sofa set with full coverage insurance on the furniture two weeks later hurricane ida hit Louisiana the eye of the hurricane open up in Laplace Louisiana causing flood and roof damage to my home the furniture was molded and water log my family and I stayed in Texas for two months when fema showed they said dont enter the house because the mold was to bad I called preferred lease and they sent me in circles wanting pictures and proof that the hurricane hit from there everything went downhill talked to a lady several months ago who said she was checking into my case but the fact that remains is that I paid for full coverage insurance to cover things like this and they never applied it to my account now they ruining my credit

This company steals from their financial customers any company that has inflation each month on interest rates is thieves. Youre literally taking money from the payments so they can never be paid off. Anytime a company is charging you a interest rate of over 45% they are financially ripping you off

Not A Happy Customer

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had with your company's customer service (Tonya) and to report a significant issue with a product( Hisense TV) I purchased from your company. It is a shame because my previous experiences have been satisfactory.

I have purchased many, many products from your company with no issues until now.

Firstly, This level of customer service was disappointing (rude with no empathy) and far below the standard I expected from your reputable company.

Secondly, the Hisense TV I purchased, (not sure of the date purchased) worked fine until a couple weeks ago, I came home from work to turn it on and the screen was black. I went into the Electronic express store located in Columbia, TN. I was brushed off as if I sold myself the TV. The gentleman that sold me the TV says Hisense is known for the screens to go out.

However, he did not state that during the time of purchase. Tonya, told me I had credit to purchase another, which I am not interested in.

I believe in the quality of your products and the integrity of your company, and I'm confident that this is an unfortunate exception to the norm.

However, this situation has left me both frustrated and inconvenienced.

I kindly request the following actions to resolve these issues:

A clear plan of action to either replace the defective product or provide troubleshooting methods to fix the issue.

I understand that occasionally, things may go wrong, but I trust that your company will take the necessary steps to rectify this situation promptly. Please ensure that this matter is given the urgent attention it requires.
